UPCOMING FEDERAL HEMP LAW CHANGES
Effective December 11, 2026 — Unless Further Legislative Action Occurs
Dear Valued Customers,
We want to inform you about upcoming federal changes to the definition of hemp-derived cannabinoid products that could affect many of your favorite CBD products.
WHAT IS CHANGING?
Beginning December 11, 2026, new federal hemp regulations will restrict certain hemp-derived cannabinoid products, including final products exceeding 0.4 milligrams of combined total THC and certain THC-like cannabinoids per container.
This could significantly impact the availability of some full-spectrum CBD products.
HOW WILL THIS AFFECT YOU?
Full-spectrum CBD contains naturally occurring cannabinoids, including trace amounts of THC. Depending on their formulation, some products may no longer qualify under the revised federal hemp definition.
As manufacturers adapt, customers may see:

Favorite full-spectrum products discontinued or reformulated.

Some manufacturers have already discontinued certain product lines in anticipation of the upcoming changes.

More broad-spectrum and THC-free CBD options.

Changes in product availability and selection.
WHAT ABOUT THE ENTOURAGE EFFECT?
Many customers prefer full-spectrum CBD because of the commonly discussed "entourage effect," the theory that cannabinoids and other hemp compounds may work together to produce different effects than isolated compounds.
While research is ongoing, many consumers value the experience of full-spectrum products. THC-free products may still be beneficial to individual users, but they are not chemically identical to full-spectrum CBD.
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
We remain hopeful that Congress will make changes or provide clarification before the law takes effect.
In the meantime, many customers are stocking up and purchasing their preferred CBD products while they are still available, and manufacturers are already transitioning some product lines toward broad-spectrum and THC-free formulations.
We encourage customers to stay informed and plan accordingly, as product availability may change.
